Applications and Features :

• Weld metal is austenite structure with low carbon 24%Cr-13%Ni.

• It has good crack and corrosion resistance due to its moderate ferrite content.

• It provides superior corrosion resistance and strength at 900°C due to more Ni and Cr content.

• It is suitable for welding dissimilar metals (carbon steel, Cr-Mo steel and stainless steel), clad steel, AISI 309S, and stainless steel with 13% Cr or 18% Cr.

 

Welding Instruction

(1) Use Ar blend with 1~2%O2 for high current, spray transfer welding. (2) Use Ar blend with 1~2%CO2 for low current, short-circuit transfer welding.
